Richard Mille RM11-03 Carbon NTPT

The design and execution of the RM 11-03 demonstrates a complete conceptual approach to the movement, case and dial. The RM 011’s case is typical of Richard Mille: a tonneau shape with a curved bezel, sides and caseback. The watch is driven by a movement unlike any other. A casing ring is no longer used and the movement is mounted on chassis mounting rubbers fixed by 4 titanium screws.
Everything has been constructed according to an extremely rigorous specification, in the manner of the analytical engineering methods used in the design of Formula 1 racing cars where the chassis and the engine are developed in complete harmony. By using the pusher between 4 and 5 o’clock, the running chronograph can be reset without first having to stop the mechanism.  While the chronograph function is activated, the hours and minutes show up the elapsed time thanks to the counter at 6 and 9 o’clock, the seconds are indicated by the central hands.  The user can start or stop the chronograph function via the pusher located between 1 and 2 o’clock. The flyback function can be continuously reset by depressing the pusher located between 4 and 5 o’clock. Skeletonised automatic winding movement with adjustable rotor geometry offering hours, minutes, seconds, flyback chronograph, 60-minute countdown timer at 9 o’clock, 12-hour totalizer, oversize date, month indicator and rotor with variable geometry.
